Kmatz started in New Mexico at Sandia High School and quickly made a name for himself before playing Division 1 College Baseball at Oregon State. He was drafted in the 5th round of the MLB Draft to the Tampa Bay Rays.

Trevor Rogers On His Incredible 2025 Season With The Orioles

Trevor Rogers had one of the best stretches of pro baseball the MLB has ever seen. He made the organization proud enough to award him with the Most Valuable Oriole Award and the fans definitely took notice! The Carlsbad native had a 1.81 ERA over 109.2 innings in 18 starts and regularly cashed in on quality starts (completing at least six innings and allow three earned runs or fewer.) He gave us insight on what it's like to pitch in Baltimore, a new deal that may be coming his way, the changes he made to become himself again, and much more.
