We all know about the brand mascots we love to see on commercials, packaging, or even in real life costume form, but what about the ones that are just plain LAME? Samaria Diaz has proven time and time again that she has what it takes to compete at the highest level. After recording 228 strikeouts in 2019 with the NM State Aggies, she made the decision to pursue her Master's Degree at the University of Oregon and play for the Ducks. She tells us what it was like to enter the transfer portal and live in Eugene. She also gives us insight on how she felt to go 8-0 for the Ducks and receive All-American honors! Many athletes dream of becoming a first-round draft pick, Nick Gonzales is looking to make his dream a reality as he approaches the 2020 MLB Draft. With projections regularly choosing him as a top five pick, Gonzales will become the highest drafted NM State Aggie in history. He was awarded many prestigious awards throughout his college career such as: NCAA Batting Champion, All-American, Cape Cod League MVP, and many more!

Laying the foundation for success isn't easily done. Edward Nelson has found a way to do it both athletically and academically as he looks forward to the 2020 NFL Draft. Nelson was awarded a full-ride scholarship by Bill Gates for the entirety of his college education and named captain of the football team at Morehouse College. Now, stuck in an odd quarantine phase, he has buckled down to focus on what's to come and adjust for anything that comes his way.

Sports are completely gone, right? WRONG! Enter the world of marble racing where excitement is a common theme and anyone could get hot! We're staying safe by staying home and Tanner Sheets has made our nights just a little more fun with The Marble Race. Sometimes risk is a must in the world that we live in so Chris, along with his co-founders, took a big one by relocating a to a whole new corner of the US to chase their dream.
